Goodman Taft is active in curating, commissioning, and mounting art installations and various contemporary art programs in the public realm. Working collaboratively with private and public sector partners, Goodman Taft aims to create new opportunities for public engagement. We focus on presenting temporary and permanent outdoor art commissions and installations that speak to broad audiences. We are skilled collaborators, producers, and project managers, and have extensive experience navigating the complexities of multi-layered projects in public space. Goodman Taft initiatives in the public domain include Nicole Eisenman’s Grouping of Works from Fountain, which was unveiled in June 2019 in a new public park; Cause Collective’s In Search of the Truth (The Truth Booth); a major permanent installation by Brazilian artist Alexandre da Cunha; and a 143-foot mural by Raúl de Nieves.
