DeCordova Sculpture Park and Museum
January 22-April 22, 2012
The 2012 deCordova Biennial was a survey exhibition focused on emphasizing the quality and variety of work rather than any single or overarching theme. Highlighting artists from across New England, the exhibition displayed a diverse range of approaches to media and content. The exhibition was co-curated by deCordova Curator Dina Deitsch and Abigail Ross Goodman. The 2012 deCordova Biennial featured 23 artists and collaboratives and occupied almost the entirety of the museum and beyond—reaching into the sculpture park as well as into Boston and other nearby communities through several public, off-site projects.
